If he's going to do that, this is the best year for that to happen. The playoff really messes with this whole thing though, two games to prepare for, stretches the season out more and so on. But... with all these coaches being fired, there's all these staffs looking around for a job.I hope he stays at least another year. I'd hate for CNS to look around at the end of the post-season and find his coaching cupboards completely bare..
He won't be back.I hope he stays at least another year. I'd hate for CNS to look around at the end of the post-season and find his coaching cupboards completely bare..
Agreed. In the business world, it's always wisest to take the job that affords you the best opportunity for advancement. If it's with one of the most premier corporations in the country, so much the better. If he's going to do that, this is the best year for that to happen. So, put yourself in the position of someone who isn't going to land a head coach job. Do you go join who ever is going to coach Georgia, or South Carolina or what not? Or, do you go coach for Alabama, you know the place that leads to head coaching jobs.
Glad you put it in blue. I know guys of that age who have yet to learn how to be a man. He's 40. He's a man.
I think he might feel ready to become a head coach, but the question is what type of job could he get? Personally I do prefer the idea of his heading to the NFL after the playoffs. That wouldn't be all that disruptive.Honestly, I don't think He'll find a job in College football.. but I am 60 percent sure he'll end up in NFL as OC somewhere... Especially if he wants to go back home west...
Wow!Here are some screenshots of the article that went around on Twitter yesterday:
That's my question too though I have seen it mentioned here in the past. Also, all of those anonymous ADs quoted by this ESPN screenshot sounds like a crock to me."We know Saban wants him out". How do we know this?
