At 270 he could get up to 290 and slide inside. If he keeps his quickness he could be very versatile6"1 seems kind of small for a defensive end but I guess that fits the new mold of the players CNS is recruiting now. Welcome aboard Aaron!
You're right about the height BUT I seem to recall reading a quote from his coach saying he had 20+ sacks this past season. Frankly, I don't care if he's a midget if he can come up with those kind of numbers at Bama.6"1 seems kind of small for a defensive end but I guess that fits the new mold of the players CNS is recruiting now. I'm with you. Dwight Freeney says hello. You're right about the height BUT I seem to recall reading a quote from his coach saying he had 20+ sacks this past season. Frankly, I don't care if he's a midget if he can come up with those kind of numbers at Bama.
Well HGT/WGT are different everywhere you look it seems. SO, I am going with something in the middle.... 6-1 1/2 250. And as a 2017 recruit has room to grow, and listed as a DE, but he sure seems a lot like Reggie Ragland to me at 6-1 250ish. Wasn't Reggie a TE/DE/LB in High School......maybe Aaron has a future as a MLB.[/QUOTE]
This. Kid may well not play on the D line, particularly if he`s got a nose for the ball, some quicks for a kid his size, and a knack for being in the right place at the right time.
I believe it was more of our idea he look somewhere else.Sorry to hear that. I guess he thinks he can get earlier/more playing time at another school. Good luck to the young man
