I think Tony Brown has been a head case all year. If you remember during the LSU game broadcast I think Gary mentioned then that Saban was yelling at Brown during practice and asking him if he wanted to leave then.

Hate this, but I think our team is very serious about winning this game. I hope he is back for the next game if we make it that far.

I would think that's very premature. Nick Saban uses things such as this as a way of getting the other players attention. It is just as likely he'll have to work through a process to regain Saban's trust but if he owns whatever he did it seems more than likely he'd make the trip to Phoenix.

I think three players were sent home from the Notre Dame championship game. Difficult to regulate the behavior of 85 or so young men with so many temptations at their fingertips. Just have to move forward.
