This won't bode well for the invaders.

Members blame 'Islamist intruders' for what they believe is an increase in crime and they have carried placards at demonstrations with slogans such as 'Migrants not welcome'.

While most Finns disapprove of the group, its growth signals disquiet in a country strained by the cost of receiving the asylum seekers while mired in a three-year-old recession that has forced state spending and welfare cuts.

I was thinking the rise of Nationalism in Germany in the 30's
There's nothing wrong with a little nationalism when your country is being invaded by one group and ruled by another. To quote Captain Ramius (The Hunt for Red October) A little revolution now and then is a healthy thing, don't you think?

In AD 410, the Romans had a line of Roman citizens completely encircling the city carrying signs that said "Visigoths not welcome."
It almost worked.
Almost.

The Romans should have tried tolerance and invited the Visigoths to come in and get comfy. Then everything would have been just fine and the Romans would have gotten a chance to experience Visigothic "culture."

Signs? How quaint. They needed shields and swords, just like the Germans, Swedes, French, Danes, Dutch & Norwegians need body armor & guns.
