I'm not sure if Pruitt will focus on the defensive secondary or the linebackers like Kirby did. I think Kirby had more influence over the secondary when he coached the LB's so he could work with the play caller and leader of the defense. I wonder if Pruitt will follow suit or if he will focus on the secondary and bring someone else in to coach LB's. Any insight or guesses? Or have they already named a new coach and I missed it.

I've heard few things:
Is it my understanding that Saban wants coaches to learn two skillset positions? I've heard few names, but I'm not sure how it'll shake out though. I wouldn't be surprised to hear Luposi coaching all LBs, while Pruitt and someone spilt the secondary duties... Unlikely, but it can happen.

Freddie Roach would know a thing or two about thumping guys from an inside LB position.

Freddie Roach has turned down a position on the #SouthCarolina staff. Will remain at #Alabama. @TideSports @AaronSuttles
Aaron Suttles reported that the hire may come outside the coaching staff and may not hire anyone until the recruiting is over.
