You're right. I couldn't find a good pic that showed the name on the jersey. But, looking at pics, the #1 on the kickoff has a different facemask. Good catch, Mack.I pointed that out the day after. He was in every single highlight for us on the wrong end. In fairness, that's not him on special teams. It's a receiver who wears the same number
To be clear we're talking about the onsided kick right? You're right. I couldn't find a good pic that showed the name on the jersey. But, looking at pics, the #1 on the kickoff has a different facemask. Good catch, Mack.
Reminiscent of Eddie Lacy v. Manti T'eo...At least he wasn't getting run over in any of them.
So at Clemson it's not so good to be number 1.I pointed that out the day after. He was in every single highlight for us on the wrong end. In fairness, that's not him on special teams. It's a receiver who wears the same number
Clemson: Where number 1 is always number 2 :wink:So at Clemson it's not so good to be number 1.
I wonder if you'd get everyone's best effort and take the 'what if I'm injured' question off of the table by having an insurance pool for Seniors and some juniors to protect them in case of serious injury. Each team can submit 10-15 players to be graded on August 1st. 1st/2nd round Jr and Sr can get up to $2MM for an injury that ends their career. Juniors who grade outside 2nd round are not eligible. Seniors who are outside 1st and 2nd round but considered likely to be drafted can get up to $500k.Some of the Clemson fans were questioning whether or not they got his best effort or he was protecting himself against injury with an eye on the draft. Personally, I have no idea how many of them felt that way or how much truth is in it. Saban has said that wew had some of those in the OSU game last year...
