I didn't see any specific thread about him. I know he was injured during or before camp and never played a down this year. Does a year of eligibility move forward if you don't play at all or does he have to get a medical waiver to get the year back?

A season you don't play is a RS. The extra medical RS year has to be applied for retrospectively...
I could be wrong but I believe Raheem Falkins never red-shirted which would mean if he didn't take a snap during a live game he can still do so. Also he should be illegible for a medical red-shirt as well given he didn't play. Like I said I'm not 100% sure but just guessing from what I have heard.
He would have been a junior this year, so he's got at least one year left anyway. He has not used a redshirt yet, so can take this redshirt for 2015 and have two years left if he wants to.
