Kid must be a real monster. What`s the degree of confidence of holding on to his commitment? I know he`s recruiting for us, but he`s after all what, 18? 19 years old? for someone that age, things can change over night, much less in 7 months or so.

Or about as close as you can say a lock in recruiting. Alex is from Pensacola which is basically Alabama, has been committed to us for a long time and is one of our leading recruiters. I would be shocked if he did not stick.

Alex was named a 5* and #7 overall player in the updated 247Sports rankings after the Opening.

I consider about everything from Santa Rosa to the West to be all Alabama. I know when we used to vacation at Pensacola Beach you would generally see more Bama flags than anything flying there.

Mods need to change the 4* to a 5* in the title to mark this great achievement. Congrats Alex, I am really excited to see this young man on the field, a great physical specimen and a greater guy. RTR

Still more decals, flags, shirts, hats than any of the others. Tatoos also.

Leatherwood told ESPN today he will announce his final decision on December 16 at his high school.

I think he will stick with Bama as he has been recruiting for us all along. A lot of the recruiting gurus think he's just enjoying the trips.
