The 2016 season will feature numerous promotions to welcome in a new era of Alabama baseball

The Alabama baseball team has released its 2016 promotional schedule, which features various season-long and game-specific promotions at the newly renovated Sewell-Thomas Stadium.

For the 2016 season, the Crimson Tide will feature Baseball Bingo Saturdays and Family Fun Day Sundays for all weekend series, including seven total Saturdays and six Sunday events. The baseball bingo will be available to the first 100 fans who will have the option to fill out a bingo card over the course of the game and get entered to win prizes during the game. Winning fans will also be entered into a drawing for one grand prize winner at the end of the season.

Family Fun Day on Sundays feature a discounted ticket at $3 per seat for all youth (ages 12 and under) to sit in the grandstands. The first 100 children through the gate will receive Alabama eye black and throughout the game there will be interactive activities for entertainment, including the all-new playground located in the left field corner. Following the conclusion of play, children are allow to play catch on the field and run the bases, while also collecting autographs from select players located on the main concourse.

Returning from a season ago is Two-for-One Tuesdays, where fans can receive two tickets for the price of one to four separate Tuesday games including: Alcorn State (April 5), UAB (April 12), Troy (April 19) and Samford (May 17). The promotional schedule also features three $5 Wednesday games with all grandstand tickets going for $5 apiece. The three Wednesday games are Feb. 24 against Nicholls State, April 6 versus Alcorn State and finally on April 20 in the contest with South Alabama.

Those looking to earn double points for their Crimson Tide Rewards program can come check out the Crimson Tide in Thursday matchups on March 10 against Oregon, March 28 against Mississippi State or May 19 versus South Carolina.

The new season will also feature weekend-long promotions at five separate series. The March 11-13 trio of games against Houston will be the Tide' "Salute to Service" weekend with all current and former military members receiving free admission with their military ID. The Crimson Tide's first home SEC series from March 25-27 will be Alumni Weekend as Alabama host Tennessee and welcomes back former greats in program history.

On April 15-17, the Tide will host Ole Miss for "Heroes Weekend", as police, fire and emergency personnel are welcomed to free admission with their ID and all family members receive $3 to join them at those games. The Auburn series from May 6-8 is rivalry weekend and little league weekend with various activities going on across the three-game set. The season will wrap up with South Carolina from May 19-21, as the Crimson Tide will celebrate its six seniors for Senior Weekend.

Tickets to be a part of the inaugural season at Sewell-Thomas Stadium are currently on sale and can be purchased online at RollTide.com/Tickets, through Sewell-Thomas.com or by calling 1-877-TIDETIX (843-3849). Fans can also purchase tickets in advance at the Alabama Ticket Office, located in the lobby of Coleman Coliseum, or on game day at one of the ticket windows surrounding the stadium.

Alabama's 2016 season will begin on Friday, Feb. 19 against the Maryland Terrapins. The Crimson Tide and Terps are scheduled for a weekend set with Friday's first pitching inside the new "Joe" slated for 6:30 p.m. CT. The two teams will then meet at 3:30 p.m. CT on Saturday and will close out the weekend slated for a noon first pitch on getaway day.
