The Alabama women's basketball team hung with regular season Southeastern Conference champion No. 3/2 South Carolina, but the Gamecocks eventually pulled away for a 66-46 victory Monday night inside Foster Auditorium. With the loss, the Crimson Tide slips to 14-13 overall and 3-11 in SEC play. South Carolina improves to 26-1 on the year and a perfect 14-0 in conference action.
