Alabama added a talented in-state punter as a preferred walk-on to its class of 2016.

Preston Knight committed to walking on the Alabama football team, Prattville head coach Chad Anderson confirmed to AL.com. Knight visited Alabama last week and committed after a successful visit. The 6-foot-5, 195-pound Prattville punter is the second special teams player to announce his commitment to Alabama in the last week, joining Ole Miss transfer kicker Andy Pappanastos.
