Nolan, just saw you are in Afghanistan. Thank you very much for your service! It is greatly appreciated.Tua can really sling it. If he develops like we THINK he will and Jalen continues his progress...I cannot think of a better 1-2 in terms of young, talented QB depth. Super pumped.
I agreeNolan, just saw you are in Afghanistan. Thank you very much for your service! It is greatly appreciated.
RTR!
from what I've seen with the arm, it's not impossible.Tua thinks he can actually win the job in the spring and personally I love that attitude.
If JH doesn't improve his passing skills he may become the back-up.Just speculation, but if Jalen doesn't develop his passing skills, he will be at Bama for 4 years. If that is the case, Tua would take over as a redshirt junior. Not the perfect situation.
If it were me, I might wait until after the Clemson game to start this conversation. And while I love Tua's attitude, I'm hoping Jalen does so well on Monday that this conversation never happens. If JH doesn't improve his passing skills he may become the back-up.
Yeah I get what you're saying. I probably should have just said don't assume things three years ahead. Either way.If it were me, I might wait until after the Clemson game to start this conversation. And while I love Tua's attitude, I'm hoping Jalen does so well on Monday that this conversation never happens.
Yes 6' 1". Slightly shorter than Jalen.Watched the Army all-star game. Is Tabovailoa 6'1" as listed on the recruiting site? He looked pretty small from what I could see.
He deserves a chance to compete for the starting job. If he is the best and wins the starting job then he "deserves" a a full season with Sark. There will be a thread on " Tua v.s. Hurt" leading up to spring camp. The thing is.. if Hurts win championship, I see him as starting qb... because he deserve one full off season with Sark, no matter what.
From what I've seen from his videos, he'll push Hurts in the spring and fall.He deserves a chance to compete for the starting job. If he is the best and wins the starting job then he "deserves" a a full season with Sark.
That honestly sounds like them good problems for Alabama to have. Should bode well for good competition and make all players involved better. If they stay mature and focused about the process, both will pan out to be great QBs at Bama before their time is up.From what I've seen from his videos, he'll push Hurts in the spring and fall.
