Report: RB Ronnie Clark Tears Achilles Tendon During Practice

Alabama redshirt sophomore running back Ronnie Clark suffered a torn Achilles tendon in practice Thursday, sources told AL.com.

This is the second time Clark has suffered a torn Achilles tendon since arriving at Alabama.

The former Calera High School star tore the other Achilles tendon as a freshman in 2014.

Sorry to hear this - maybe he can get a medical hardship waiver for another year.

I don't know how long those injuries take to heal up.

two coming in the summer. We also have Derrick Gore and Xavian marks.

It is bound to impact depth, much in the way Bo's injury last year did, but yes Alabama might just have to take another look at Marks at the position. Hopefully the guys coming in are of the instant impact variety.

I think Bo will probably only get 8-10 carries tommorrow . I too expect lots of passing. I hope Ronnie's rehab goes well.
