He was the last surviving member, of those flight crews. Managed to drop bombs on 2 of the enemy carriers. The whole war turned on what happened during that short slice of time. I've seen him interviewed, on several documentaries. Never went as far as saying he was lucky, but..............yeah, probably couldn't have done it again, if he tried. Maybe. Who knows? It's all history, now.

I am surprised no one else noticed this. Sorry it is a few days late.
