Is it true that 15 qbs were drafted? I expected Jake to be drafted very low or not at all, but cannot believe 15 draft eligible qb's are considered better prospects. Amazing. But a couple of years ago, I would not have thought Ryan Kelly would be drafted a round ahead of Henry or that Cyrus would go in the same round as Henry, Ragland, Robinson and Reed.

Yes, 15 taken.

On my "unofficial draft chart" I keep for myself, I had Jake ranked 12th. By that metric he should have been taken in the 6th round.

I felt like Coker should've been drafted before Rudock, Allen, Driskell and Doughty.

Didn't Cardale Jones have a terrible combine/pro day? He still got taken in the 4th round? The teams definitely had wood for OSU this draft.

To be fair about Cardale Jones, I thought he was all fluff when he started whiffing this year as well - but even after they put in JT Barret thy still weren't the dazzle-fest from the year before. The likely truth is that the change in OC had a massive effect on everyone's production. Jones more than likely has a huge upside (Roethlisberger) that has to be brought out by a decent offensive scheme. OSU took a big step back with their new OC hire... at least compared to what Herman brought to the table.

12-Gauge got drafted on the back of beating 'Bama, plain and simple. Not so plain and simple for Zeke Elliott but a good chunk of the "credit" for him going in the 1st round goes there, too.

Oh, and the only way Coker could be in a better situation for succeeding in the NFL would be in the pocketbook had the Cardinals taken him No. 1. Carson Palmer shelf-life fast expiring; can Coker come on in the next two years and take the job? Highly possible says here.

While this is true, we could not score in the red zone with Cardale all season. With JT in, we were able to score TDs. Not sure why.
