Just got in and a nice surprise to find Bama up 8-2 at the end of the 5th. We've hit 3 homers thus far. Solo shots for Vance and Haynie, a 3-run dinger for Taylor.

Finnerty takes over for Bramblett to start the 7th, Eagan with a 2 out homer for the hogs, a single, a triple plates another. Bama 8-4 after 7.

Foster starts the 8th and gives up 2 runs before 'Gasp hard' can get him out of the game. Burrows in with one on to try to get a 5 out save.

Burrows puts out the fire with no additional damage. After 8 complete, Bama 8-6.

We go quietly in the 9th. Need 3 outs.

Ground out for #1.
Strike out for #2.
Ugh, a two out walk.
Ground out to end the game.

Bama takes the opener, 8-6.

I wonder about them continuing to use Finnerty. His numbers are not that good but he continues to get opportunities.

This was a huge win if we are to have a shot at a regional. Getting out of there with one more would be big.
