The only way we are likely to win this is for Jake to calm down and throw strikes. We get behind by three runs and this is most likely over.
Once again though, my empathy for this team comes through, because this is a tough row to hoe, playing the teams we are playing right now. We can all bemoan the fact that we SHOULD be one of those 'tough' teams, but on most days we are not, and we may as well admit that 57 games into this season. We just aren't that good, and these other guys? Well, going into the double elimination part of this thing seven schools felt pretty good that they'd be hosting regionals next week. And that leaves who?
