LSU-Alabama football on collision course for another primetime matchup, CBS reveals in scheduling sneak peek-thtadvocate/rbr

While the games haven't been selected, CBS set the date of its one scheduled daytime-prime time double header as Nov. 5, the day of the LSU-Alabama game. The network will show a game in its regular 2:30 p.m. time slot that day and will also have a game at 7 p.m.

If CBS picks the Tigers and Crimson Tide, it will mark the seventh straight season the two schools have met in prime time. An announcement isn't expected until Oct. 24.

Does anyone even have to look at the TV schedule for LSU week anymore? That game will be played on CBS, at night, for the foreseeable future. As far as this game goes, LSU is going to pull out all of the stops. Three years ago, Leonard Fournette waltzed into Baton Rouge as the anointed MVP, the face of the franchise so to speak, who would bring Heisman trophies and national titles with him. If they lose this one, at home, and watch Alabama go on to Atlanta again, his career would have been wasted. That game is going to be war.
