There appears to be quite a number of precincts around London left to report. I assume these areas could tighten the spread.

Spread getting close to 500K again with only 130 out of 382 precincts left to report.

So am I but judging by the depressed look on the faces of many reporting, it looks like "Leave."

Leave now leading by over 700k - not looking good for the Remain fans.

If this holds up the world markets will be fun to watch tomorrow...

Birmingham, second biggest city in England, is about to announce and rumors are they'll go "leave" by under 4,000 votes. So the "stay" supporters counting on metro areas to bail them out won't be able to count on Birmingham.

Wow - the big urban areas have to go (and have been expected to go) Remain for them to have a chance. If true, this is stunning.

Leave spread is now a little above 800K. Only 85 out of 382 precincts left to report.

"leave" up over 840k with London still coming... but they'd have to take it in a heavy landslide to switch it

ETA: Sky News just called it for "leave"

I'm not sure which answer is the best for the UK (or for the US), but we're going to find out soon enough. This is a once in a generation event, people will be talking about this for decades - especially if Leave wins, as it appears it will.
