W/L records aren't meaningless, but they are trumped by the one thing that really matters - championships. How many divisional, SEC and national championships does each team have? That's all we need to know.
I agree. But both ways Alabama and Florida are the two most succesful.
Alabama - 5 National Championships (1992,2009,2011,2012,2015) 6 SEC Championships (1992,1999,2009,2012,2014,2015) 10 West Division Titles (1992,1993,1994,1996,1999,2008,2009,2012,2014,2015)
Florida - 3 National Championships (1996,2006,2008) 7 SEC Championships (1993,1994,1995,1996,2000,2006,2008) 11 East Division Titles (1992,1993,1994,1995,1996,1999,2000,2006,2008,2009,2015)
Both teams have met each other in the SEC Championship game a record 8 times and are dead tied at 4-4.
Then there is LSU at 3rd overall, the Barn at 4th and Georgia and Tenn Tied at 5th basically.
LSU - 2 National Championships (2003,2007) 4 SEC Championships (2001,2003,2007,2011) 5 SEC West Division Titles (2001,2003,2005,2007,2011)
Barn - 1 National Championship (2010) 3 SEC Championships (2004,2010,2013) 5 SEC West Division Titles (1997,2000,2004,2010,2013)
Tenn - 1 National Championship (1998) 2 SEC Championships (1997,1998) 5 SEC East Division Titles (1997,1998,2001,2004,2007)
UGA - 0 National Championships (LOL) 2 SEC Championships (2002,2005) 5 SEC East Division Titles (2002,2003,2005,2011,2012)
So in conclusion Alabama, LSU, and the Barn have won 20 of the 24 Western Titles and Florida, Tenn, and UGA have won 21 of the 24 Eastern Division Titles in this span from 1992-2015.
