Binge watched the whole show this week. This shows you just how hard it is to get a lot of these kids to do anything whatsoever academically. Glad they were removed from the playoffs as that brawl on the field was completely ridiculous and their coach seemed to be a malcontent as well.

I finally watched the series. Brittany is the star of the show, not the head coach or the players. She wont be in Scooba for long. I find it interesting that Aubarn picked their new QB based off the first half of one game. Overall it worth watching , UAB will have its hand full with that RB if he can ever pass Junior College. Its worth a look just to watch the Head Coach and all his F Bombs. Oh and he is originally from Huntsville...

Agree. That head coach is a head case. He should make douche advertisements.

My goodness...what is Gus doing? I can not believe he bet his team getting a Quarterback that has this background. Seems like a huge risk risk to me. More likely to go bad than good in my opinion....and if it goes bad he has this poor character player affecting the others. Can anyone here possibly imagine Nick Saban , Kirby Smart , or Jim McElwain signing this bad character to their team? Heck, I don't think any Coach in the SEC would sign this kind of character to their team. Gus Bus may very well sling a rod this year.

The producer of the docuseries had two tweets about JF3 tonight. The bottom one is an al.com video of him walking around practice high-fiving, doing hand shakes and dances with teammates.

Just finished binge watching ...... ugghhh ..... Knuckleheads to the core ..... players and coaches.

It bothers me greatly that the foul-mouthed, goober coach also takes on the part-time preacher role.

Maybe the barn will schedule Mississippi Delta so their quarterback can have some decent stats.

yeah, but they always finished with a meaningful rendition of the lord's prayer ;)

but you have to give the franklin kid credit, he has the potential to make mediocre juco defenses look silly, so we could see a lot of highlights from summer practice.

And painted Bible verses on the walls of the locker room. After one profanity laced tirade, the camera zoomed in on the wall with passages from Job and other references right behind the HC. You know, because being in Scooba playing football, MS is comparable to the plight of Job, haha.

Finished this series. Excellent documentary.

But dang, after watching this how could anyone want to send their kid to play for Buddy Stephens? He's a loose cannon who only cares about himself and his legacy. He abuses his players and frankly doesn't seem to care for them at all.

Also, did they already have a head coach in waiting?????? At Scooba Ms. Mike Dubose should go apply for the HC position.... Netflix must have paid the school a nice paycheck to let them air all this. The interesting fact is how much of the real stuff that went on never made it and was edited. Scooba is only a 30 minute drive from Philadelphia MS. 2 Casinos in the middle of a cotton field. I know I have been there once for a convention. Once was enough... And the coach told the to go get a hotel room and split it 3 ways, it cheaper that paying the $300.00 fine for having female in their dorm room. Only in Mississippi.

I just binge watched the whole series and I agree that Miss Wagner was the bright spot of the show. That lady is a genuine saint with all she has to put up with trying to help those players out. As for the players....

Wyatt Roberts - How did this guy get ZERO D1 offers? He was the starter the whole season over John Franklin III.

DJ Law - He seemed like a really good playmaker running and catching passes. He signed with UAB but I think his grades status is still up in the air? Sidenote his backup Isaiah Wright looked even more talented and has FSU and the Barn after him.

John Franklin III - Looks to be a dangerous player as a runner/scrambler/improviser but as far as a passing QB he kind of stinks. Oh and he also appears to be a selfish player. I'm glad he's at Auburn.....perfect guy for them. I look forward to our defense clobbering him this year.

Final thought on Buddy Stephens: His actions don't mesh with his words. He's a walking hypocrite and like many of you have said I wouldn't want my kid playing for him. EMCC should get rid of him. He's the definition of a loose cannon.

The hotel advice is given in many locker rooms across the nation. It's not limited to EMCC or just Mississippi.

"God has a plan for us regardless of whether you're the homecoming queen" is my favorite quote so far. I can't decide if it's brilliant or sad .
