DNC Convention: Upheaval, threats, and everything Clinton

There's a reason Hillary Clinton's campaign so forcefully and unequivocally pushed back at Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe's (D) assertion Tuesday that she will support the Trans-Pacific Partnership once she's in the White House.
It would be nice if the DNC had a day where they gave speaking slots to all of the union members that they stabbed in the back.

Naw...............you are safe!

Well, if they get you, it won't be because of anything I have done.
I get how creepy it is Trump asking for the emails to be released.
But is that really deranged compared to voting for the woman that was receiving $2,35 million from Russians wanting to buy uranium capacity or $26 million in foreign contributions from Sweden while her office had oversight over arms trading deals with Iran? What about the millions donated for causes we don't know about yet. As Auda abu Tayi said, "It is the servant to takes the money." Money for services. What services? America has become a women of easy virtue sold to the highest bidder.
Republicans raise the stakes with calls of "Throw her in jail." Hillary has to be worried that if she loses, they will be prosecuted, so she has to adopt some remarkable measure to ensure she wins.
Democrats raise the stakes by spending colossal mountains of money, especially from foreign power. This is a very frightening period for the republic. About on par with Rome in the 80s BC, or maybe 40 BC.
In the early republic Romans died gladly for their republic. In the later republic, they had divided into two antagonistic parties and partisans of each would gladly sacrifice Rome's interests for the good of the party. We are more than willing to screw over the republic for the sake of the party.

This is a sad state of affairs that will not end well. As long as I can salvage Virginia from the wreckage of the former republic, I shall be hopeful. Virginia is my native country and I hope to save her.

President Obama gives a great speech.....but it is all slight of hand. He doesn't practice anything he preaches about racial harmony or how great the country and military are doing. In reality...he is a major divider, not a healer.

You'd think we are living in Heaven on earth after that speech! NOT!

The foundation of this pyramid is lies/deception/corruption! At the apex is "what difference does it make" and 30,000 missing e-mails. All the difference in the real world.

And the gullible masses were drinking the koolaid.

This is truly bizarre, but the Democrats have stolen the best parts of the GOP. That's been the message all week. They've stolen the rhetoric of American exceptionalism as the GOP repeatedly claims that America has lost its greatness. They’ve become the party that supports the military, while the GOP candidate insults veterans by name. They've taken up the mantle of family values without requiring the albatross of Christian ideology. Suddenly, because the RNC completely abandoned these themes, it's the Democrats who are the party of patriotism, the military, family values, and the Reaganesque principle of American exceptionalism.

They've left the GOP nothing but existing now as the party of Trump, and it was absolutely fascinating to watch this happen.

On the flip side, the Republicans have nominated their own version of Bill Clinton, a misogynistic, self-centered flip-flopper who didn't serve a single day in the military.

Besides - what needs to concern you is when the email is published to the whole world showing this whole Reaganesque posturing is a farce conceived months ago.

you seem bitter. the "empty suit" gave a very inspired and optimistic speech last night, maybe that will cheer you up and make you feel a little better about our country.

My interpretation of the entire DNC convention can be summed up into one word: PANDERING

It's always been my opinion those democrats who hold office do so upon the backs of the poor and less fortunate in our country....with the myth that they are the party of salvation. When in reality they are nothing more than a gang of elitist snobs and bigots.

I totally understand that in our country there are many who feel disenfranchised.....and they look at these politicians as personal flotation devices. They want and need to cling to something for spiritual support. You could even say cults are formed. And "movements".

But at the end of the day all that counts is getting in office....getting the votes....holding power.....and making money.

Despite all the words said last night....this is what I saw, sorry to say.....
