Who is the biggest overachiever in the SEC? The biggest underachiever? The first column is the average of the past four years recruiting in the SEC. The second column is the combined W/L record over the same four years.

Recruiting SEC .......................W/L record SEC
1. Alabama ....................1. Alabama ........31-4
2. LSU ...........................2 Georgia .........24-9
3. Georgia ..................... 3. Florida ..........21-12
4. Auburn ...................... 4. LSU ..............20-12
5. Texas A&M ................. 5. Mississippi .....17-15 tie
6. Florida ........tie........... 5. Miss State .....17-15 tie
6. Mississippi ...tie........... 5. Texas A&M ....17-15 tie
6. Tennessee ...tie........... 8 Missouri ........17-17
9. S Carolina .................. 9. S Carolina .....16-16
10. Arkansas ...................10 Auburn .........14-19
11. Miss State ..................11 Tennessee ....11-21 tie
12. Kentucky ....................11 Vanderbilt ....11-21 tie
13. Missouri ..................... 12 Arkansas ......9-23
14.Vanderbilt ................... 13 Kentucky ......4-28

Interesting that Georgia overachieved and yet fired their HC.

That's not really a fair dataset for comparison, imho.

I think a better comparison would be the last four years' wins and losses versus the average recruiting rankings from two through six years ago.

What is even more interesting is how UGA fans over here bash Alabama and say we're obsessed with football, have a win at all costs mentality, blah blah blah. Funny how they raid our coaching staff, lure away current players and accept our sloppy seconds as walk-ons. Very interesting.......

This is a hard one to figure in recruiting. Some are on the team five years, some four years and others three years. I settled on four because that seems to be the majority of players. But I could be wrong.

Man our 4 year SEC record is SICK!! 31-4!!!
2012 (7-1) Reg Season (1-0) SECCG
2013 (7-1) *SIGH*
2014 (7-1) Reg Season (1-0) SECCG
2015 (7-1) Reg Season (1-0) SECCG

We so should have beat the barn in 2013 too and you know we would have beaten Missouri that year also. We could have very easily been 33-3 with 4 Straight SEC Titles in this time frame.
