Only RB, and possibly TE and special teams, is so singular.
Think about it - no one asks, "Why can't the B1G get elite LG play?" It's easy to count the number of elites when each other position group has between 3-5 starters per school. RB is the only other one, and without disparaging RBs, it takes more to play QB than RB. A lot more.
How many elite RBs were there last year vs elite QBs in all of NCAA football? Seems like there were more RBs overall.
