I know how /where to get radio to work each season at BDS. I've never tried to get it to work for first game at neutral site. Anybody know if this is doable? If so, how?

You are out of luck for Dallas. You can pay $10 at the WKU game at one of those little booths where they sell them and they will give to a new battery and program the radio for this year.

The game day radio scheme is ingenious, but is also essentially extorting the fans

This is what I received via email directly from livesportsradio.com:

We will not have a presence in Arlington. You have 3 options:

  1. If you live near the Bryant Denny stadium you may go to Crimson tide Sports Marketing offices near Gate 1 and they are offering reprogramming in the office.
  2. Order a new one online which will ship tomorrow.
  3. Sent it to me with an address I can return it to in Texas. See attachement.
Have a great evening.

Wasn't that a character on SNL? Or maybe that was Wendy Whiner.

Download Nobex or I heart radio to your smartphone. Locate a channel which broadcast the CTSN, and its all the F word (FREE). Stream it during the game. Jerrys world has WIFI. So just buy a good set of ear buds.

CTSN has its own channel on the TuneIn app. Used it last year during the Iron Bowl.

Is it realtime? That's the beauty of gameday radio vs anything else.

Try the Alabama Radio app

None of the stations on the Bama radio app are realtime. The quickest ones are still 15-20 second delays. Not a big deal unless your are trying to listen to the play by play in the stadium.

I'm always envious of people that have success with their radios. Three different radios purchased, none of which have worked an entire game. I've given up the ghost on that one.
