Hey everybody.....

I thought this might be a fun weekly thread....predicting how many yards, TDs and sacks we will achieve in this week's game.

Here are my predictions - should I be "higher" or "lower"

  • Passing Yards - 200
  • Rushing Yards - 150
  • Total TDs Scored - 2
  • Total FGs Scored - 1
  • Total Sacks by Us - 5

Rushing Yards - 150 - add 75
Total TDs Scored - 2 - add 2
Total FGs Scored - 1 - add 2
Total Sacks by Us - 5 - add 1

Passing Yards - 200 = Higher I think with the receivers we have we will run around their secondary.
Rushing Yards - 150 = Higher They won't be able to stop the run either
Total TDs Scored - 2 = Higher It's almost like you are predicting a loss. We have way too many weapons.
Total FGs Scored - 1 = Higher I think we have a couple more drives that stall and end in field goals
Total Sacks by Us - 5 = Lower Only by one, I think they'll tell Browne to get out and throw it away. It could though be much higher.

I like this idea. Consider adding "Turnovers" for both teams next time



  • Passing Yards - 200 About right considering it's the first game
  • Rushing Yards - 150 Low 200+
  • Total TDs Scored - 2 Low 3
  • Total FGs Scored - 1 Low 3
  • Total Sacks by Us - 5 About right

I guess, my thought is -- we are breaking in new QBs....who are going to be playing it soooo safe.....If they are planning on a 5-2 Defense -- they are going to make it hard to run......

I predicted a 17-3 victory -- so I had to pick 2 TDs and 1 FG... ;)

Bama's skill players do not have to score on every play. They just have to not turn the ball over. If they avoid turnovers, I really like their chances. Turn the ball over five times, and USC wins easily.
