Per talk on Finebaum by TN media, Fulmer may be considered for AD job at UT

Ohh! That would give me even more reason to dislike them!! Phat Phil was the reason for my initial dislike of them in the 1st place <img src="http://www.tidefans.com/forums/../old_ubb/rolleyes.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)" smilieid="8" class="inlineimg">

I would not be a fan of this. Not because I fear they'd somehow figure things out and return to prominence, but because I consider him the poster child of the meddlesome past in which programs were cheating all the while turning in other programs for doing the same thing.

I don't think Phil Fulmer is good for the game or the conference. But I know that's an Alabama fan's take and the rest of the college football world will probably praise the move.

Phatty knows without question that he would be the perfect AD. His mind cannot correlate in any way that someone could be better than him. Think Kim Jong-un in orange.

Heard talk of this possibility last night during pre game. Finebaum was saying that phat Phil had plenty of pull at tennersee to get selected for the AD. I was thinking that he didn't have enough pull to keep from getting his tail fired from the HC position, he must not have much pull.

I hope they do. Last night I found myself not 100% behind App State to win; feeling the twinges of loyalty to the SEC and thinking we need them to be decent to help our SOS to get to the BCS playoffs.

Hiring him would end that and help me keep focused on my total contempt of that program and their crappy orange so I can easily return to wanting them to lose every single game they EVER play.

Just saw on a job recruiting site that the NCAA is looking to hire 50 more investigators in anticipation of Phat Phil's return to U Cheat.

I don't dislike TN, but Fulmer has no place in college football after what he did. He lacks integrity. How can a school trust him?

After Hart quit, I checked out a UT message board and idea of Phat Phil Fullofmanure getting the job wasn't well received. They still like him but didn't think him as AD was a great idea. The only person anymore seemed to want was the AD at UTC.

FWIW, Fulmer was an advisor at ETSU when they started their program a couple years ago. Not sure if he is still involved with them.

I also heard Krispy Kreme in Knoxville is looking to install an extra deep fryer in anticipation of his return.

UT comes into the season with all kinds of positive talk...rated number nine in the country. Then they lay an egg on national tv, and escape with a fluke overtime win.

What happened?

Karma reminded us that as long as Fulmer draws a breath, he needs to stay away from UT football. The folks at UT float the possibility of bringing this disgraced trainwreck back as AD, and they promptly bomb on TV.

At least they don't have a Fulmer statue in Knoxville.
