The Crimson Tide practiced for roughly three hours on Monday afternoon to officially kick off the fall

9/13/2016

TUSCALOOSA, AL –
The Alabama baseball team practiced for the first time on Monday afternoon, with the practice serving as the official beginning of the fall season and the Greg Goff era.

The Crimson Tide worked on fundamentals for the first two hours before splitting the third between batting practice and fielding drills. The day wrapped at 5:30 p.m., when Coach Goff along with senior starting pitcher Nick Eicholtz and junior infielder Cody Henry met with the media to close out the day.

Alabama is scheduled for its first scrimmage of the fall this afternoon at 3:30 p.m. CT. The intrasquad will be preceded by an hour of practice and warmups before first pitch. The scrimmage, as well as all practices and scrimmages during the fall, is open to all fans wishing to watch. All who plan to attend are asked to enter through Gate 3 (located directly behind home plate) and to remain on the main concourse for seating.

I hear the Trousdale kid is going to be a good one. Anyone been at scrimmage to give some notes?
