There are currently twenty unbeaten and ranked teams. The Big 12 has two unbeatens, Baylor and WVA. They won't stay that way. They're done since their two big names have losses. The Big Ten will send a team with either one or zero losses, but if they have two losses, they'll still be in the pecking order above any of the Big 12 contenders at present save Texas. The ACC will get a lot of love and ink, particularly if they all eliminate one another. FSU is probably toast with one exception - if they were to drill Clemson the way Louisville drilled the Noles, it would set up better for them.
An unbeaten SEC team will go. Guaranteed. Even with the thought of the conference not being what it was even five years ago, an unbeaten will go. A one-loss team is a 99.9% certainty to go, setting aside obvious unusual circumstances that might actually make that happen. Their biggest guns appear to be Stanford and Washington. Either team unbeaten would definitely go. A one-loss Stanford would be about as safe a bet as a one-loss SEC team.
Oh, and Notre Dame is finished so that takes care of that.
