Yes actually. How would you feel about working somewhere that people constantly bash you and talk about getting rid of you? After all the stuff at the end of the season last year I think les was just tired of it all. He looked worn out at the end of the season last year during the time they were talking about firing him.Come on, seriously...
They did throw Miles under the bus, guess they might throw the season under the bus. I guess that would say to the players its not about you.Hence the speculation about Briles.
IMO, they won't hesitate for a second to hire him. He will take the job if offered. He doesn't even think he did anything wrong. With the situation behind his firing I can't imagine him being a candidate, but you never know.
That's true. At the same time, if you were a young coach, making great money, would you really leave your current utopian situation to walk into a hornets nest of expectations that wants to fire you if you can't beat Coach Saban?Exactly, the whole idea that Herman is firmly entrenched at Houston is puzzling to me. LSU is a destination job, Houston isn't.
In all honesty...I was thinking the same thing. Plus the man knows how to recruit....Looks like we have our new OLine analyst [emoji3]

Probably not but I'm not ambitious. I've found it you don't have a goal, you're never disappointedThat's true. Yeah well a lot of people think OJ is innocent and the moon landing was staged...Well, there are two sides to that coin. A lot of folks think that Art was a scapegoat and was did wrong by Baylor.
It really depends on Herman's end game. I seriously doubt that Herman's life goal is t be the head coach at LSU right now, and winning at LSU would be a whole lot harder than winning at Houston. So, again, it really depends on where he sees himself in the future.Exactly, the whole idea that Herman is firmly entrenched at Houston is puzzling to me. LSU is a destination job, Houston isn't.
Is there a national forum single comment award? If so, you sir, just won it all.For a guy who is not going to stay at Alabama more than two years, Coach Nick Saban is now the longest serving coach in the SEC.
RTR
my guess is that he see's himself destroying the big 12 as the HC at Houston for some time. Now if the big 12 balks and doesn't bring in Houston I think he boltsIt really depends on Herman's end game. that's disgusting if trueI'm tell you all, its Art Briles. I live in Central Texas and those rumors are swirling like the wind right now.
Good point. I don't know a ton about Herman's personality, goals, etc.Probably not but I'm not ambitious. I've found it you don't have a goal, you're never disappointed
All of these coaches are alphas and have huge egos. It's hard for us to speculate what they'll do but I don't see Herman turning down a huge SEC power for a Group of 5 team...
