Could Scarborough become a tight end?

Jack Linebacker. Or safety. Maybe he can pooch punt and we will Wild Elephant package the rest of the year. Blocking back for the Wing T. He could be the equipment manager, imagine the looks.

For as much talk as I have seen about Ingram being inconsistent in his freshman year, here are his stats for the season and the game logs for each game. below that is Bo. Not in the same ball park right now, not even close, even with Ingram's late season struggles as a true freshman. Bo can still develop but we have been lucky to have a series of RB that could walk right in and contribute. Bo might have to develop his skills (not speed and strength, but reading holes and blocks). it is not unusual at times for some players to need a year or even two for the light to go on. Bo's challenge is the competition factory at Alabama. I wish him well!

Any thoughts about a possible move of Scarborough to TE? He looked great catching the ball, and he is a big powerful target. With the glut at RB....any thoughts?
If I were Bo, I would hate to think I had gone through summer two-a-days and the off season weight/running program, and also had performed well enough in Spring and Fall camps so that insiders were talking about me.... To all of a sudden see that fans are asking if I should be a TE rather than a RB. Once he earns the coach's trust and Coach Burns starts playing him more, I think he will be a special player, and a special RB.

Good thing Cyrus Jones realized that there was enough talent at WR that a move to DB would get him more playing time at a position of need.

Bo might just take more time to get used to the speed of college football. Remember Henry didn't play much at all his first year. Tenpenny (RIP), was well ahead of him for most of the year and DH didn't do much at all till the last couple of games. I think even Kamara got more snaps than Bo did for the first part of the year.

Bo can be a great running back. He needs a little time to figure out his game. He will be fine.

I would love to see him pull double duty though and I think he has the talent to do it. I miss having the H-Back ala Smelly and Dial. Those fellas had some clutch yardage and seemed to always catch defenses off guard. It would be insane to have Bo and OJ lined up together. I know that's not really Lane's offense, but it would be cool to incorporate IMO.

Wasn't that because he was behind Lacy and Yeldon?

There's a big difference in saying I'm third or fourth string behind two high round NFL picks (no one had doubts that they both would be) and being third string behind unproven freshmen and sophomores

I think Bo is going to be just fine. He looked like a world beater last year because he played in blowout wins where the other team was tired or had quit. IS he Derrick Henry? no, who is? There have only been three backs in his class in the SEC in my lifetime. Bo has plenty of time to become a great back. He just needs to work hard and never be satisfied.

Bo does look kind of out of place at RB, oddly. I think try him out at LB or TE.
