Washington reminds me of the Boise teams from a few years back. Quick, athletic, undersized, with the added ranking benefit of being in the power 5.

The PAC 12 is reasonably solid top to bottom, but their top seems to consist of one team - UW. It would not be surprising if Stanford's run as the P12 North's bully is over. They have been a good, not great program. So glad to see the "great white hope's" run come to an end. The overhype is not his fault and he's a fine and versatile player, but the media once again is sickening.

UW may go on a nice run over the next few years. They have a good history and now a very good coach, probably the best in the PAC 12, though Shaw has been more productive in the league to this point. UW is not afraid, especially in Seattle. They have a sweet place in Bama's heart, being who Alabama defeated in it's history changing first Rose Bowl win. Also, Don James, Saban's primary mentor, made his name and won a NC there.

Problem with these teams is that they sometimes look like world beaters... Till they play someone who plays football. Hard to judge the 'Left Coast' teams till they get smacked around by teams from other conferences.
