The Alabama defense has given up 6 TDs
They have SCORED 5 TDs
The special teams has added 2 more

Other tidbits:
Alabama has allowed 1 TD in the red zone in 8 trips, for a 12.5% average (tied with OSU for 1st in the country)

Last year, 3rd down conversion was a weak spot for the Tide offense. This year they're ranked 22nd in the country at 48.7%

NCAA RZ Defense stats are a joke. Ranking based on % of scores vs attempts. The barn is currently ranked 27th, giving up 14 scores (7 TDs & 7 FGs) on 19 ATT for a .737 PCT. Bama is ranked 28th, giving up just 6 scores (1 TD & 5 FGs) on just 8 ATT for a .750 PCT.

FWIW, that great ut team is tied with Tulane and USC at #111. All three have given up 15 scores on 16 attempts for a .938 PCT.

I don't know the stat, but our D is doing well on 3rd down as well. Not many long drives against us this year.
Alabama is currently ranked 14th in the country on defensive third down stops: through five games, opponents have converted only 22 of 79 3rd down conversions (27.85% conversion rate).

I agree. What if they never reach the red zone? Seems like this stat penalizes great defense.
