Man, if you had bet me that we only had 1 or 2 Fumble Recoveries during those championship years I would have bet the house.....and lost.

I guess it seems like Fumble Recoveries happen more frequently than they really do.

Wow - Alabama has 7 defensive players who have scored on defense (Harrison has done it twice). Crazy.

I think I read where its actually 8, but "only" 7 of the starters have.

That just can't be right. I'm guessing this site's criteria for "fumble return" means a recovery with at least some gained yardage. ie just jumping on the ball (for zero yards returned) wouldn't show up.

Possible. That site lists 8 defensive TDs, plus Eddie has 2 punt returns for TDs. One is missing somewhere.

Alabama has recovered 7 fumbles this year according to the official NCAA stat website.

These stats are for fumble returns.
Fumble recoveries where they just jump on the ball and cover it up aren't returns.
