Taking an unofficial visit to Tuscaloosa this weekend with his mom. He's been a Bama lean for awhile, and many think this might be the weekend he makes it official.

good news he is bringing mom.... I would classify him as a need right now, simply due to size.

They have him listed at 6'4" 305lbs? If He is 305, he carries it better than any prospect I remember seeing! He passes the proverbial "eye test," for sure!

Was thinking the same thing ... I'm 6'4 278 and we actually look about the same size so I guess its possible. Just thinking he may weigh a bit less than they are indicating though. Either way though, he would be a great addition to the team. Love what i saw from his highlights.

Hope his ( and his mom`s ) visit went well. Really need this guy. And a couple more on the D line, too.

If I could borrow some speed, agility, quickness, and strength I'd make a great linebacker at 6'2 225 behind those two.

Not to hijack the thread but check out this video ... I played in an alumni football game a few years back (was 34 at the time). Its actually a pretty cool thing if anyone is interested, and you don't even have to be an alumni of the school/team you play with.
Here's the video, I'm #58 on the white team (Brookwood) and it was on 13 of us playing, we won 6 to 0 and I was gassed lol:

Anything New On Elijah Conliffe ?

Not a peep for quite a while. Thought there was high mutual interest. Have things cooled? At one time wasn`t he on the cusp of a commitment?
