I originally thought the question was "Can Bama make a perceived-to-be-good-team look ordinary?" re: USC, Tennessee, Texas A&M.

I get what Marcus is saying, let's face it LSWho and the barn fans are beating their chest for whooping up on the Mississippi Boys School for the Blind 8th grade team. Every week we prove who we are. This guys haven't done it yet.

Beating LSU requires that you do one thing - stop Fournette. I think that Alabama is up to that task.

I don't think they can do it with Etling. They don't have the elite combo of Landry/Beckham anymore. Their WR's are good but not all-world. Our pass rush is too good, Etling will have to get the ball out quick.

As usual I'm nervous. I'm concerned about our seemingly declining passing game. I'm nervous about a slow start. Bama has won 3 of 4 in Baton Rouge but they're usually very tough.

I'm willing to bet we see some type of play action with the LF7 shooting up the seam off the backside or a wheel route out the backside. LSU ran the seam play last year and it was wise open but LF7 dropped it. A&M had the wheel route open twice and just didn't capitalize.

Yeah, they are gonna have to spread us out to have a chance. If they can't do that it's a wrap.

Which is also a big ? They have what, three whole games playing an entirely new style of offense? I'm not sure that will run with no hitches with Tim Williams, Jonathan Allen, and Ryan Anderson flying at the Purdue transfer. Just a thought.

Based on how bad Hurts passing game has been, I am thinking that kiffen was told to script out the first 20 plays. I would say its a 80-20 pass vs run. And to get Hurts settled down and complete some passes. So we are going to rely on the defense the first quarter and then make adjustments from there.
