Recording FL v AL SEC title game 2009 now. Noticed several other Alabama games in the future on
ESPN Classic and CBS Sports.
1993 Sugar Bowl is one of them. Hard to beat the Keith Jackson / Canes beat down combo.

Fire up the DVR.

they are nearly all on youtube, get a Chromecast, Roku, AppleTv or whatever and watch till your hearts content

Yep, Most are on YouTube. I have been giving a list to my son of which games he needs to watch. He has found them all on YouTube and has been loving it.

Lol..I am in my early 30's. So you will see a theme here of more recent games, but so far he has watched:

1992 SEC Championship and the National Championship
2008 Alabama/UGA "Blackout" game
2009 and 2012 SEC Championship
2009 and 2012 National Championship

He has watched all games from the last couple years at they happened. (He is 9)

I think I am going to get him to watch some of the 2011 games next. If anyone has any other suggestions let me know. He chooses to watch these instead of the normal kid shows after school. :biggrin:

That's what I do, I'm actually in the middle of a 3 day kick watching you tube games in the build up to Saturday.

Not having been born a Bama fan it's knowing what games to watch.

Watched the 4 recent NC games
Watched the SEC CGS from the same seasons
Watched the Miami Sugar Bowl
The Georgia Black out
2012 at death valley
And the 2009 iron bowl

But I don't know the significant games to search for much beyond the above.

ahh, apologies I was thinking you wanted to know how to find the games, not which games to find

1979 Sugar Bowl, "Goal Line Stand" game is there, that is a classic
1992 SEC Championship is always a great game to watch
1990 Alabama Ten is a great one if you appreciate a defensive classic as I do


I bet some others can suggest a few

73 Sugar Bowl Bama-ND played for Nat'l Championship, 66 Sugar stomped big bad Nebraska, they out weighed us 30lbs per man.
71 USC beatdown in their house when wishbone was first unveiled.

2008 Inaugural Chic Fila Kick off game vs Clemson (The game that started it all),
2009 Chic Fila kickoff vs Tyrod Taylor and Va Tech (4th qtr comeback & lots of future NFL names in that game)
2009 UT "Cody 5" game,
2010 Florida game (game that sealed Urban Meyer's decision to leave Florida, IMHO),
2011 Capital One Bowl vs Mich St (49-0 and further explains why their loss to us in the CFP last year was so demoralizing)
2011 Penn St game played in Happy Valley and last Joe Pa game vs Bama,
2011 Florida game (Saban destroys Muschamp)
2012 season opener vs Michigan
2013 vs Texas A&M (straight up shoot out in College Station and amazing pick 6 by Vinnie Sunseri)
2013 Bama vs Ole Miss (Bo Wallace calls our defense beatable and says we have no 1st rounders on D. We shut them out with at least 2 goal line stands and a late game safety. One of the loudest crowds I've heard at BDS)
2013 LSU Game (highlight of the 2013 season)

You guys are fantastic, the reason I love this site.

College ball gets zero coverage in the UK outside the games we see on a single sports channel and nothing at all between seasons.

Everything I know about Bama I get from here or advice received here.

RWB, we are so glad to have you here! You bring a fresh perspective to what some of us oldtimers have "almost" taken for granted. I am lucky enough to have lived through the Bryant years and now through the Saban years. Incredible (as you are now seeing). Also, lived through the down years, but, without those we wouldn't be enjoying these years so much.

Just watched Alabama Florida 2010 game.

Every remaining SEC game that followed our opponents had a bye week the week before they played us????
