As a dumb foreigner I've been wondering how their new quarter back would have improved their O and D lines enough to mean that we were 'lucky' to get them early.
That is what we destroyed was it not or was that just my untrained eyes?

Man, Boulder is obnoxiously beyond hippie. You really have to see it to believe it. They try way too hard. FWIW, I'm not even a real conservative.
It's because it's timed and only five yards away. It would take too long to wind up to try to throw a spiral and is likely less accurate at that distance.
If I were doing it, I would do an old fashioned option pitch.

Gaskin won't get any yards on Bama. I've seen high school defenses better than this Colorado defense..
I could live with that because it's a football play. What they're doing is more like a chest pass you'd see on the hardwood.
Personally, I'd rather have them at least 20 yards away.
