2016 Alabama already best total rushing yards team under Saban

2016 Alabama: 3185 yards

2012 Alabama: 3171 yards

2009 Alabama: 3011 yards

2015 Alabama: 2999 yards

The 2012 team was powered by 2 1000-yard rushers (Lacy and Yeldon). This year's unit is a bit different: 4 players with at least 500 yards, Harris is 14 yards short of becoming a 1000-yard rusher, and the second leading rusher is our starting quarterback Hurts (841 yards).

That's surprising. For some reason it just doesn't seem like we've had that big of a running game this year. Just shows how much impact Hurts has made being a dual threat.

Also Alabama scored 526 points in 15 games in 2015. So far they have scored 527 points in 13 games in 2016. 542 in 2012 through 14 games is the highest scoring total for any Nama team.
