Jalen Hurts all sec in first year. I wonder what he will look like in his last year.
Great for Jalen. Some think he may not be starting for us next year if he does not improve his downfield passing , but I feel he will be a A-A, Heisman Trophy winner in his last year or before.

Jonah Williams? Ryan Anderson? They should be on the list.
Jonah, as a freshman, may have a year to wait. But I agree 100% on Ryan Anderson. He and Tim Williams are pretty equal from my perspective, and Ryan has made a ton of big plays in his Bama career. He deserved to make it IMO.

I think so. To me, he should have been the top return specialist regardless, even with his injury.
Did anybody return two for TD's this year other than Eddie? Not sure, but doubtful.
TAMU's Christian Kirk had 3 on the season while Eddie had 2.

Agreed - Anderson does start ahead of T Williams after all and leads the team in TFL...

How in the world is Humphrey not listed either? A lot of draft experts have him as potentially the top CB overall. Maybe because the stats aren't there since teams don't throw at him much?

Also a bit surprised to not see Tomlinson at least as second team.

On J Williams, don't they do Freshman All-SEC team? If so he'll get his honors there.

I was really surprised that JH made 1st team...and even more surprised that Ryan Anderson, Marlon Humphrey and Dalvin are nowhere to be found. Ronnie Harrison has been playing lights out the 2nd half of the season...and D Payne as well. I guess you can't have a starting 11 all be named...but they sure looked deserving to me.

Re: 2016 Coaches All-SEC Team

Only 28 players made the list, and 11 were from Alabama. If the listed every deserving Alabama player, they might have had 20. At some point, I think the Alabama fatigue takes over.

NFL looks at the potential. This looks at production over the course of the season.
