It's pretty cool, but their caption on the bottom right corner is incorrect. We won our 12th NC in 1992.
Makes me wonder what the article says.

Apparently SI is only recognizing the number of titles won since the wire service (AP and Coaches) polls began.
They typically only recognize pre-BCS championships awarded by AP and UPI. That wipes out 1925, 1926, 1930, 1934, and 1941. Not agreeing; just explaining...
Well there are measurements that give Princeton 28, actually. Back when the sport was invented and one of eight Ivy League teams passed the title around.
But yeah, of real teams in the modern era Alabama is easily #1.
I wish they wouldn't do that, but I guess the media insists that they were the only trustworthy arbiters of judgement in this matter.
