Here's a little info courtesy of the AHSAA web site. Dustin Cagle, a junior, was 21 of 29 for 548 yards and 7 TDs against Hubbertville in Week 8. He left the game with approximately 8 minutes remaining. Hubbertville, by the way, is now 0-9.
Lynn is 6-3 and is the No. 4 qualifier for the playoffs out of 1A Region 7. Their 3 losses came to South Lamar 19-12 (9-0, No. 1 qualifier in 1A Region 7); Parrish 44-19 (7-2, No. 2 qualifier in 1A Region 7); and Berry 29-20 (7-2, No. 3 qualifier in 1A Region 7). They have wins over 1A opponents Meek, Marion County, Vina, Hubbertville and Brilliant and over 3A Winston County. The win over Meek was close (16-10) while the other wins were by fairly large margins (average score of 42-17). Apparently, they can put some points on the board. In all games (wins and losses) they average just over 30 points per game. Overall, they have given up an average of just under 21 points per game.
It looks like you most likely will not have a repeat of the Ala-Tenn game on your hands.
