Let's just get this out of the way...

What color was Nick Saban's shirt at the Alabama (vs) LSU basketball game?

(Popular vote wins) :biggrin2:

geez, ya'll, cut the guy some slack. that shirt was a shade of red...leaning toward maroon. when he was in his bathroom at home it probably looked very crimson, but when he got to the game, up against the real color..it looked more maroon, or purple if you will. He's new in town. He'll figure out how crimson his shirt has to be...lol. Wear hot pink for all I care...just win!

Roll Tide!!!

p.s. i think there's a little rebel in him too. if the shirt was purple..he wore it to make the point that he can wear whatever the fart he wants to...he's nick saban...haha!

It was burgundy. A shade that is both red and purple (trying to appease the masses perhaps) like the color of wine, hence the name. He doesn't have to wear a red jacket like Gottfried. I would have like to hear a more inspiring half time speech? if that's what it is called. Something along the lines of ,"I know you guys love Alabama football with all your heart and I want all these recruits here tonight to hear how much you love the University of Alabama. I dn't want anyone to sit down the entire second half. I want the to hear the tide roll in Louisiana." or something to that effect. And you know what? Tonight the crowd would have done whatever he asked.

THE coach last night, Mark Gottfried wore a red blazer - Saban was just the 1/2 time entertainment.

Probably not.

That's is true we had slim to none recruits at the game last night. Speculation, but I heard that the BOT was considering waiting until the UGA game so that we could get lots of recruits there. That did not happen, but I love the irony as him being introduced at the LSU game.
