^^^ Whoa...that's a lot of talent on that stage, 59. Thanks so much for posting this - one of the best music videos I've seen an a while! I reckon George is smiling from above, eh?

While on the subject of The Beatles.....a girl I once dated said she really loved the fact that most of the songs by The Fab Four were about love.

Here's a song from the first Beatles album I bought. And yes...it is about love.....

Sheryl Crow!

Love the lyrics on this classic from The Piano Man........

Ali dances and the audience applauds
Though he's bathed in sweat he hasn't lost his style
Ali don't you go downtown
You gave away another round for free
Me, I'm just another face at Zanzibar
But the waitress always serves a secret smile
She's waiting out in Shantytown
She's gonna pull the curtains down for me, for me
I've got the old man's car
I've got a jazz guitar
I've got a tab at Zanzibar
Tonight that's where I'll be, I'll be
Rose, he knows he's such a credit to the game
But the Yankees grab the headline every time
Melodrama's so much fun
In black and white for everyone to see
Me, I'm trying just to get to second base
And I'd steal it if she only gave the sign
She's gonna give the go head
The inning isn't over yet for me, for me

In Alabama off "highway59"
Last one from back in the day, Aerosmith and the album "Toys In The Attic" were
in heavy rotation on my turntable and 8 track. The thing is back in the day we had a
top 40 station called WABB down here in south end of state, and this was
what were the regulars on their playlist along with The Eagles and "Hotel California" and
Steve Miller and "Jet Airplane".... WABB is still around, but top 40 today is a
far cry away from what was considered hit music back in my day.;) But I know my folks,
who were Tennessee Ernie Ford and Eddie Arnold people, didn't get their baby boys
music either....:D
