Even if it was cheesey?

Fallen Angel - The story of the girl who moved to the bright lights of the big city.

Lay it Down - Little boy and his birthday wish

Lovin' You's A Dirty Job (I just liked the girls in it)

Pat's were always stories.....but real cheezy. Remeber the "Love is a Battlefield" video? The hookers danced the pimp away! LOL.

I'm embarrassed to admit it, but I dug this video....the song not so much.

Take on Me - boy saves girl, fights to get out of cartoon, does, they live happily ever after.

You have to admit, the video was kickass for its time.

Re: Remember when music videos told a story? Post your favorite video...any genre

As a 13-14 yr old red blooded male this video led to a 25+ yr pitiful love-struck facination with Ms. Jett..

One of my favorites from back in the day.

Lordy at the times I had with this group playing in the background. Though I have always been a metalhead, Toto is one of the most talented groups ever.

And here's the gayest video I can remember, literally. Little did we know he was singing to his partner.

Not everyone's cup of tea, but I'll throw two more modern videos... Radiohead and Guns and Roses.

BamaSC, you beat me to it! Duran Duran were indeed the kings of video in the 80's. This one is Save a Prayer. Not a story so much as an beautifully shot advertisement for Sri Lanka. I remember the first time I saw this video thinking how incredibly beautiful it was.

Wang Chung's "To Live & Die In L.A."

Of course, it's telling a synopsis of the Michael Mann film they scored....which totally kicked arse.

Radiohead - Just. Nice pick there.

Here is one from a band I never thought I'd like. They're good.
