Has anyone done the analysis on buying CF Gameday versus the new SEC TV package?
I have enjoyed the CFGD package primarily for the SEC games and the Bama PPV. Is it worth the price with all the new TV exposure we are to get this year?

Re: Is ESPN Gameday a Value Now That we Have SEC TV?
I thought that we were in PPV status on at least 2 of the games this year, no matter SEC TV or else. If it will be covered I will not buy it again. Anyone with some knowledge please speak up.

Another thing to consider is ESPN's 360. Now that we have the deal with them, you may see more games on there that would have been PPV in the past. Comcast just recently announced that they would carry ESPN 360.

Is 360 an internet thing or TV? Is comcast offering it free?

I think the new deal says we will only have one PPV game per season. Every other game should be on either CBS or some kind of ESPN.

I for one will still get it, there will be other games out there that need to be watched and that is what the Tivo is for. there is nothing like having 20+ games to choose between on any given Sat.

What's going to happen with the NYC tv slots? I may get the CF Gameplan anyway. Will the games that I can't get on SEC tv package be avaliable on the espn gameplan? Posted via Mobile Device

For someone in the South, but outside of Alabama, most likely the only thing that GamePlan will get you is the FIU game that is scheduled for PPV. There is only supposed to be 1 PPV per school, so that should take care of ours for the year. The only thing that is a question is whether or not GamePlan will include games on CSS, and if those games will be made available in the South. If you get CSS on your cable, then that will not be an issue. If not, then it is still unclear. However, it does not appear likely that we will have a game on CSS, except for possibly the UTC game.
For those outside of the South, the value of GamePlan for UA games will depend on whether or not you get a local SEC Network affiliate, and whether or not the SportSouth/CSS games will be included in GamePlan. My guess is that they will, but we will not have an idea of that until the GamePlan schedule for week 1 comes out.

What about espnu on comcast? I cant find that channel on any package of comcast cable.
I don't know how to get it via DirecTV either...without getting the $109 per month package that gives you every single channel.
