Abita Springs Turbo Dog Beer

May be one of the finest, yet unappreciated, American inventions of the twentieth century. Just sayin...

Is it a seasonal?

I'm heading to visit my folks in Clinton, MS around Halloween. I always try to pick up whatever Abita has in the local stores.

They had an awesome pecan nut brown ale a couple of years ago. I think it was a seasonal.

Re: Abita Springs Turbo Dog Beer

I tried Abita Andygator at a beerfest in Nashville earlier this month and that was pretty tasty too.

I like Turbo Dog. It is year round. I love Amber even more. There is a place a couple blocks from me that sells Abita up here...Amber, Turbo Dog, and Purple Haze. I can also get a variety pack, but I am not too crazy about the Restoration Ale that comes with that.

Abita Amber and the seasonal Harvest Pecan aren't bad, but they've got nothing on Lazy Magnolia Southern Pecan. My Lord, that's good drinking.

I feel like a chick whenever I drink a Purple Haze, but I can't help myself. Whenever we go to Mellow Mushroom, that's what I get...Purple Haze is tasty.

Re: Abita Springs Turbo Dog Beer

Turbo Dog has been one of my faves, but I have to give the edge to Brooklyn Brown in this category.

Yes, yes and yes! If you can find this on tap anywhere then you are in for a hell of a treat. Liquid gold.

I've had people tell me for a few years now that I needed to try some purple haze. I guess since its on TF's I have to now.
