All you guys and gals that had HD TV last year, how many games will be in HD this season based on last year? Are all ESPN games in HD? CBS? CSS?
I realize not all games are scheduled for TV yet and it will be determined later, but just trying to get a feel of what is to come. 1st year with HD!!!
I have looked at some NFL pre-season games in HD and it is awsome.

So, 2,3,4 games in HD or more? Can't wait. RTR.
Thanks for your feedback.
All CBS games are in HD. All ESPN and ESPN2 games are HD. I'm not sure about ESPNU games, but I know that I have an ESPNU HD channel. The Raycom games where in HD last year, so I would have to think that the SEC Network games are in HD.
I'm not sure that my grand kids will be able to see a Crimson Tide Sports Network game in HD.
I think that we will get 7-9 regular season games in HD this year.
I assume that all of them will be available in HD...but depending on which channel carries the game, some might not come through in HD. I don't believe ESPNU is in HD and I know that satellite carriers do not have the local CW channels in HD, even though HD programming exists on those channels.
Also...PPV will never be in HD...at least not in the foreseeable future because they can make a lot more money by not investing in the new cameras and other hardware needed.

Dish network carries WPCH here in Atlanta in HD, which appears to be the ESPN regional TV affiliate, so I'm assuming I'll have everything but the PPV and ESPNU games. It doesn't look like Dish has ESPNU HD, but I don't have the channel in my package anyways.
I hate when th games are on cbs. I have dish and as another poster said the hd package dose not include the locals. Also can not get css on dish. Very frustrating. I'm a little unclear about the whole espnu thing. Are all sec games going to be broadcasted there?

Yea, but if that is your girlfriend/wife in your avatar, I could think of worse things than CBS not being on dish.

I have ESPNU also and there is no ESPNU HD channel. I recently added ESPNU, after football season I will know if it was worth the extra $$$.

I get local channels in HD on Dish. ESPNU comes in standard def for me though.
