DJ AM found dead of apparent drug OD

This was one of the young men who survived a plane crash, albeit with injuries, that killed the four other people on the plane last year. Apparently, he got hooked on the painkillers (he was in recovery from previous addictions prior to that) and wasn't able to get the monkey off his back.

Another senseless death. I feel for his family.

Alas, riz, my profession dictates that I stay up-to-date on pop culture, else I'd never be able to relate to anyone under the age of 30.

Understood. I consider myself to be fairly up to date myself, but when it comes to rap, which I'm assuming was the realm of DJ AM, my up to dateness has no interest.
