I ordered a medium size, Roll Tide, Nike t-shirt a few weeks back. I always wear a medium but when I got this one it just fit small and uncomfortably. It's also not a good color. The "crimson" is too brown. Does Nike stuff always run small and are their colors always that off?
I'm a guy, but I personally think Nike sells some of the best Alabama products in terms of clothing.
Perhaps it was just the type of shirt you bought, or it could've been the runt of the litter. I'm not sure... but then again, this is coming from a guy who buys only guy shirts. I've never actually tried on a female 'Bama shirt

In some lines - especially those aimed at young coeds - the trend is very "fitted," i.e. TIGHT. I swear, the XLs of today are the XS of my day. I'm still looking for a decent looking plus-sized Bama shirt. I don't like wearing men's because the shirts and sleeves are too long and the hip area too tight. There is NOTHING out there for plus-sized women.
Thank you RhYno and Alagrad. RhYno, if you ever do try on any women's Bama gear, you should remember that sizing is very unreliable in all women's clothing and you will always want to make sure it doesn't make your butt look big. Alagrad, I hadn't thought about the tight fit for the uh...younger...uh...LESS MATURE women's market when I ordered. You're right, of course. It is a fitted style and probably cut for juniors sizing and preferences.
I've found Nike's "ladies" sizes to be cut more for "misses" as well. After my first experience in that regard, I now order all Nike attire 1-2 sizes larger than what I normally wear, just to be comfortable and have a decent looking fit. I can't speak to the color. I wish these companies would get with the university and come up with a uniform crimson color that looks good and won't fade.

Sometimes I'm roped into clothes shopping with my wife and have to give my supposed "opinion" on how stuff looks. I'll never understand how y'all figure out anything regarding size. I have enough trouble with S, M, L.
When you throw in all your variously sized "assets" it would seem like mission impossible.

And now you know why we women are the way we are. And why we all love shoes!

The official color for the U of A is Pantone (PMS) 201. I agree that sellers need to get that right, as I have seen shades that range from almost pink to dark maroon and every color in between. Most annoying. I wonder if officially licensed products are constrained to use the 201.
